Literature Text

Once upon a time, there was a noble king that loved his queen with all of his heart. He loved her so much he gave her whatever she wanted. There was nothing that the queen wanted that she did not get. She got a puppy, a kitten, a new hair brush, new dresses, nice shoes, lovely bows, make-up, a stable for the horses she got, a bigger room for herself when she was bored, a library built in the castle, any type of food from around the world, a big rose garden, and anything else her heart desired.

One day, when the king and queen were outside in her rose garden that the king had given her, she realized that she was unhappy. She asked the king, "What am I missing? I have everything I could want. You give me gifts and treasures to hold. Why am I so unhappy?" The king pondered and shook his head, not knowing what she was missing. The queen sighed and excused herself to their bedroom. That night, when the king and queen settled down in their royal bed, the queen silently cried not knowing why her heart was so empty.

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and the king continued to give her what she wanted. No matter what she got, the queen still could not fill the emptiness in her heart. Once again she approached her king with sad eyes. "My king, I am still unhappy. You have given me everything I have asked for. What am I missing?" The king again pondered and thought once more, seeing her sad eyes, her ruffled hair, her beautiful face. The king then took her hand, and kissed her softly on the cheek. "My queen, come with me," He says in a soft voice.

The king leads her to a small patch of forest outside their castle walls. The queen, puzzled, followed him and they stopped under a tree. The queen recognized the tree immediately, and reached out to touch the engraving on the rough bark. It was a heart that her king had carved right before their wedding. She teared up in happiness at the reminder of her most wonderful day - the day she married her night in shining armor.

"My queen," speaks the king. "Do you remember our times together so long ago? When we would ride together through the fields, go to dances and hold each other tight? We did not think of what things we wanted, only that we wanted each other." He hugged her gently, and said very softly "What you have been asking for is not what you needed." The queen then realized what she was missing. It was love. Something money cannot buy.

The queen wiped her tears and looked into her kings eyes, asking for her final gift. "My king, will you give me back the love that I have lost?" The king nodded and took her hand, leading her back to the castle where they threw a party with all of their friends and family and celebrated with chocolates and sugar cakes. The king and queen danced all night long, and the queen's heart was no longer empty, for she had found what she had lost. Her king had saved her, and she fell asleep that night with a smile on her face, and they lived happily ever after.

    The End.
I really wanted to do a "Once Upon A Time" story so here it is. I needed to upload something new and this kind of story came across my mind.

Of course I have music/movie to go with it. The movie Dreamer is one of the inspirations to this story. I love how it doesn't just portray to horse racing, but father and daughter bonds, father and son, and remembering who you are. If you haven't seen it I highly suggest watching it. As for the music, look up the soundtrack by Michael Lang. My favorite track on it is "The Noble King" because in the movie I cry every time the story is written.

Tell me how it is?
I dunno I'm not that young I just thought of doing something childish ya know? This adult stuff was getting boring :XD:

Quite realistic. Why did you want me to be one of the first three to read this?
